What is Skin Health?

The skin is the body’s largest organ and acts as a protective shield against pollution, bacteria, and toxins. Healthy skin is a reflection of good digestion, balanced hormones, and strong immunity.

In Ayurveda, skin problems are often linked to imbalance in Pitta dosha (heat, inflammation, rashes, acne), Kapha dosha (oily, dull skin, cystic acne), or Vata dosha (dryness, wrinkles, premature aging). Accumulated Ama (toxins) also show up on skin as pimples, dullness, pigmentation, or allergies.
